Single changelog vs multiple patch articles
Are there any compelling reasons for having all the patches as different pages? I understand the value of having them available online, but it seems like having them as one page would almost be more valuable, because it would allow for easy searching and finding - if somebody was curious when a certain item was changed, and didn't have immediate access to the patch notes within the game files, rather than combing through each individual page to find the information. Meanwhile, having them as individual pages offers nothing that a Table of Contents would not offer just as readily. Purgatoryness (talk) 19:18, 7 July 2013 (CEST)
- Oups, didn't see your comment before I deleted the content of page Changelog, because it was duplicated and not up to date...
- But I think you're right: creating pages for small patch doesn't make sense. The changelog could be in a single page, keeping some redirect pages for the major patches, so that they can easily be referenced in articles (such as patch 2.0). Romulien (talk) 00:54, 23 January 2014 (CET)
