Regarding character and land titles (duchy, duke, king etc.) in this Wiki, I would like to propose a change in use to default style for capital letters. I believe it is reasonable to consider that character/land titles are one of the foundations of game design in CKII. Dynasties and their characters are the focus of narrative (as in quests and chain quests), expansion (through dozens of claim types) and accountability of prestige via accumulation of land titles by dynastic family members. So far, rising up the ladder of titles is the acknowledgement of power, translated into the final score in 1452. As a matter of fact, gameplay revolves having fun expanding your dynasty by conquering higher and higher titles and land. Considering what was said before, besides typing in caps letter a specific title, such as the Duke of Normandy or the King of Poland, I would like to propose as standard style for this Wiki that character and land titles - baron, barony, earl, chief, duchy, duke, emir, king, sultan, khan, so on - should always be typed in caps letters too, even when they are written generically. I really understand that too many capitalized words in a text become an eyesore - which I fully agree with -, but if we capitalize titles, readers will be clearly aware of their importance in the game. For your evaluation, thank you in advance. --Chrispim (talk) 16:57, 20 October 2017 (BRST)

Tribal Vassals don't count towards Vassal Limit if Feudal (in addition to Nomadic Vassals)[edit source]

I'm fairly certain Tribal Vassals (or at least Tribal Counts) do not count towards the Vassal Limit. Tested as a Catholic Polish Feudal Emperor with Catholic Polish Tribal Counts (which were holy warred off of Pagans). 19:38, 18 November 2018 (CET)

Vassal Limit[edit source]

I can confirm that if you play with feudal government then vassals with the Theocracy government type do not count toward the vasssal limit. I can confirm this for King rank Vassals (Pope and a different King-Bisop) of my religion and Count rank vassals of my religious group (him being Orthodox while I am Catholic). The Pope is also of my culture (English) while the other two are not (Norwegian and Greek respectevliy). Playing with Legacy of Rome DLC only. -- 14:25, 18 September 2019 (UTC)

EDIT/Addition/PS: So i just checked and Republic Vasssals also do not count toward the Vassal Limit but Iqta Vassals do. I am pretty confident that if you play as a Ruler with a government type in the Feudal group Vassals which have a government type in a different group are not counted towards your Vassal Limit. -- 15:46, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
