noinclude[edit source]
Please be careful when adding <noinclude> elements to templates. You need to put the opening tag on the same line as the end of the transcluded content. The line break in between is transcluded, so it can lead to breakage or extra vertical space. Hairy Dude (talk) 19:30, 2 February 2016 (CET)
"Unsuitable".[edit source]
(Images removed) Maelgwn Gwynedd (talk) 17:00, 8 January 2017 (CET)
- While I recognise the sources and have removed them. We don't want that on the wiki. There are a number of in game icons you can use instead and they are already on the wiki. Dauth (talk) 18:13, 8 January 2017 (CET)
- Put the sources back, they're not even offensive. Maelgwn Gwynedd (talk) 18:58, 8 January 2017 (CET)
- Do not give instructions to the moderating team. As to the sources, there are a lot of people who will go through the posting content process before the thinking process. It is the moderating team who have to clean up the wikis afterwards. I'd rather not increase my workload, so the images will remain removed. Dauth (talk) 10:52, 11 January 2017 (CET)
- It was a request, not an order. And you've deleted evidence. Maelgwn Gwynedd (talk) 13:38, 11 January 2017 (CET)

- Requests start with "could you" or similar. "Put the sources back" is an instruction or order.
- Please don't be hostile to moderators. It never helps your case.
- In this case, wanting to avoid using the swastika while there are other entirely fitting icons (the in-game one for example) makes the decision in this case easy: don't use the swastika for this purpose. ~ Meneth (talk) 19:11, 11 January 2017 (CET)
SpeedDelete[edit source]
Hey, I noticed that you deleted Template:SpeedDelete a while back.
Going by the deletion log entry as well as the fact that its documentation page] was left behind, I suspect that was because it accidentally tagged itself for speedy deletion and got auto-deleted, rather than a deliberate decision.
If so, could you consider undeleting it, and if not, could you delete the doc page? Special:WantedTemplates is so close to being empty... Pjoelj (talk) 01:12, 18 March 2017 (CET)
Disposition issues[edit source]
Hello Dauth,
I write to you as I currently encounter structural problems in my page. Sections marked with ===, or == often disappear under = ones. I wonder if it is a technical limitation of the wiki to allow only some of them, or if it is a bug... Marcus Furius (talk) 12:04, 13 December 2017 (CET)
- I think its you using the headers the wrong way round. Smaller numbers produce larger headers so you start with the low numbers and move up.
- = Text = is used for a level 1 header. We don't use level 1 headers on these wikis as is it the same size as the title
- == Text == is used for a level 2 header. This should be the one used for main sections
- === Text === is used for a level 3 header. This should be the one used for sub-sections
- ==== Text ==== is used for a level 4 header. This should be the one used for sub-sub-sections, these are often not worth using.
- I hope this makes sense. If you have any other questions let me know. Dauth (talk) 12:34, 13 December 2017 (CET)
- Ah, thanks a lot! I will try this. One last question: how do we make in-page redirects? My article will be a very long one, and I don't want people to spend their time scrolling up and down. Marcus Furius (talk) 12:38, 13 December 2017 (CET)
Ok, thank you. I may create other pages to keep it light then.

Some inconsistencies[edit source]
Hi, I don't know who are editors for CK2 wiki, please show this to current content editors. I am new player so maybe I am wrong, but I noticed few inconsistencies in CK2 wiki. I was reading about Realm Peace, and there is some conflicting information about it.
Realm peace main page doesn't specifically state if realm peace forces all vassals to end (and prevent new) only internal or also external wars. And It says that all wars "end with white peace (NOT inconclusively!)."
Realm laws - Vassal wars page states in the table rows for "Allowed" and "External" that enforced Realm Peace prevents internal and external wars.
Casus Belli - War ended inconclusively page states in [War Name] ended inconclusively (Realm Peace is enforced in the realm) that war ends inconclusively and mentions only inside wars.
I assume that Realm Peace behavior was changed during different patches a bit, but I am a noob at CK2 and I don't know, and I haven't tested it in the game yet.

- I'll forward this to some of the more regular editors for this wiki. I moderate but I don't know the game well. Thanks for bringing it up. Dauth (talk) 13:38, 31 December 2017 (CET)
Deleted page[edit source]
Hi Dauth, I'm wondering what was the reason of the deletion of page Munster walkthrough. Thanks -Romulien (talk) 23:30, 15 January 2018 (CET)
- Because the last date I could see an edit for it was Sons of Abraham so it was ludicrously out of date. If this is wrong then please restore it and give it a more up to date version tag. Dauth (talk) 01:00, 16 January 2018 (CET)
Updated achievement page[edit source]
I have sort of completed updating the achievement page to the standardized version in the other wikis in my sandbox. I haven't done the difficulty for the achievements because I haven't done them yet. I am willing to order them when they are categorized by difficulty. The only achievement I was unable to complete was the "Sword to Ploughshare" achievement. The problem with that is that the game files were not clear on how it is completed. The only clear thing in the game files were in the Achievements.txt in the common folder that only gave me a character flag "has_character_flag = achievement_pointy_thing" and the achievements_event.txt file was not clear on how the achievement is obtained. The character flag is no where else to be found in the game files. AkatsukiEmpire (talk) 11:11, 9 August 2018 (CEST)
- All looks fine to me. The other wikis started out with the PDX defined difficulty and users have contributed since. Go ahead and deploy it, once its up on the main space we'll figure out how to remove those double lines. Cheers, Dauth (talk) 19:31, 9 August 2018 (CEST)
Wiki links to Mercenaries[edit source]
Hi today I looked up the Wikipedia links from all the historical mercenary bands; like what they did with the Outlaws of the Marsh. But unfortunately I can't upload the changes because of the amount of external links. Right now I have saved the wiki code on a other file. Please let me know if I could upload them again. 20/09/2018 Problem is solved.

Just a note: I ran the text through Google Translate and it looks as though the user was trying to translate the page to Cantonese. I don't suspect foul play, but rather a misguided effort to fork off a translation (although that would be fruitless without language namespaces on the wiki). --Jtgibson (talk) 09:09, 31 October 2018 (CET)
