And stay out Achievement[edit source]

I wanted to let you know that inviting the Aztec heir to your court and land them did not work for me. I tried it as the Roman Empire: I was a pagan (reformed Hellenic), invited the heir and gave him some random land in scotland. He became independent and then I plotted to murder the Aztec Emperor. When he got killed, another heir came to the throne. So maybe it doesn't always work? Cheers

No idea, sorry. The Aztec Empire uses agnatic primogeniture so succession should be stable, but the entire DLC script is pretty fragile and breaks with the slightest of problems. — Taigei (talk) 20:51, 1 August 2021 (UTC)

Actually, come to think of it, was the heir non-dynastic? According to the succession page, the Aztec Empire will fall back to open elective if the ruler has no male heirs - the title is top-level and titular, meaning no liege and no vassals so appointment and feudal vassal succession will be skipped. I'm still trying to get the achievement to work on 3.3.4. — Taigei (talk) 06:34, 3 August 2021 (UTC)

Finally got it to work. The heir has to be a son of the emperor. — Taigei (talk) 19:30, 3 August 2021 (UTC)

Yes, he was a non-dynastic heir. I thought that he was a dynastic heir because I thought that the game spawns it like that. But now we know what (normally) should trigger the achievement: following a non-pagan religion or trying to invite the dynastic heir and land him like you mentioned. Great! Cheers!
