Sons of Abraham expansion

Dlc icon sons of abraham.png Sons of Abraham (SoA) is the fifth major expansion for Crusader Kings II, released on November 18, 2013, alongside with patch 2.0.

It gives further depth to the three Abrahamic faiths; Christianity in particular, but has also added some content for Muslims, as well as the Jewish faith.

The launch price was $9.99/€9.99.

It was met with generally favorable reviews.

Papal mechanics

  • College of Cardinals to elect the Pope
  • Pope that you supported can give you money, free invasions/excommunications/divorces
  • You can request Crusades!
  • Opinion maluses for each request to Pope
  • Exclusive to Catholics and Fraticelli

Holy orders
